Long Cold Winter

It's been a while since I posted, so I decided to go ahead and update the two people who might possibly care about this blog. It's getting colder in Chicago and I am almost certain that for the first time in my life, I will need a good pair of gloves; not the kind I am used to wearing for yardwork or some similar outdoor activity, no, the kind you wear to keep your fingers from freezing plum off. I've already invested in a few good wool hats, so at least that section of my body is covered - no pun intended. And I'm hoping that a London Fog trenchcoat my parents purchased for me years ago when I spent time in Washington D.C. will hold me through my forst Chicago winter. Now, if I could only find the thick liner that came with it (it was removed long ago as it was less than necessary in Louisiana). Now, I know what you may be thinking - just wait until it snows! Well, I've traveled enough to have seen snow and spent time in places like Colorado, so I doubt a few flurries will faze me, but if that damn lake freezes over, I may just lose my sh!t.

On another note, I'm now working at a web design firm near my apartment. Since I'm not a lawyer here, I need to do something to keep the law loans paid. Anyway, it's about time to get to work and that's about all for now.

I don't care what NOAA says, I think it's going to be a long cold winter here in Chicago.
